Based in Kenya and with a Pan African approach, the initiative brings together members from the US, Haiti, Caricom countries, Europe, and Africa. With a mission to mobilize resources, raise global awareness, and foster unity and solidarity with Haiti, the initiative seeks to facilitate sustainable development, humanitarian aid, and long-term positive impact. Through strategic partnerships, innovative strategies, and targeted actions, Africa4Haiti aims to make a significant and lasting impact on Haiti’s recovery and resilience journey.
Purpose:
Haiti is currently facing an unprecedented crisis characterized by widespread gang violence, killings, rapes, kidnappings, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people. This dire situation has further exacerbated the country’s already existing challenges, including political instability, economic hardship, and social inequality. The Africa4Haiti Initiative emerges as a response to this urgent humanitarian crisis, aiming to provide immediate aid, raise global awareness, and foster unity and solidarity for Haiti’s recovery and resilience.
