Harmony for Haiti Concept

The Harmony4Haiti Concert & Cultural Fest 2024 is a pioneering event aimed at fostering solidarity between Africa and Haiti through cultural celebration, economic support, and international advocacy. Scheduled for 10th August 2024 at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi, Kenya, this event seeks to celebrate shared heritage, support youth entrepreneurship, and raise global awareness about Haiti’s development challenges and opportunities. The event will bring together artists from diverse backgrounds including Haiti, Romania, Somalia, the United States, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Congo, Kenya, Burundi, the United Kingdom, and others. Embracing the concept of the world as a global village, the event will showcase a fusion of cultures and nations, peoples and leaders, all standing in solidarity with Haiti. This convergence aims to contribute to Haiti's recovery through international cooperation transcending race, religion, political affiliation, or global ranking. Supporting Haiti is a human responsibility, and this global event is intended to amplify this message and mobilize global support for Haiti. Furthermore, the Haiti MSS Mission has garnered significant publicity in Kenya and internationally. The event seeks to address information and awareness gaps locally, informing Kenyans about the importance of the deployment and Haiti's significant role in Africa's history, liberation, and culture. In this regard, Africa4Haiti (A4H)—an initiative that uses culture to promote interaction between Africa and Haiti—in collaboration with the State Department for Foreign Affairs, will co-host the "Harmony4Haiti" concert and cultural festival on 10th August 2024 at the Uhuru Gardens & Museum.
